Balancing thermal performance with affordability, this ceramic coating will appeal to users who want some of the benefits of Zircotec’s plasma sprayed thermal barrier coatings, but who might not need the ultra-high levels of thermal barrier performance available by Zircotec. By popular demand, we can now offer a stunning gunmetal grey finish that compliments any engine bay style/setup, whilst of course offering the renowned levels of heat protection Zircotec has become known for.
Our Primary Range™ of thermal barrier ceramic coatings offers up to 25% surface temperature reductions, with a max operating temperature of 900°C .
All our coating finishes are put through their paces, with OEM level testing to ensure their durability and performance. Primary Gunmetal Grey™ holds the same bonding, porosity, and coating system parameters as our established Primary Black™ coating. In addition to thermal barrier properties, our Primary range of coatings offer corrosion resistance, chemical stability and adherence resistance.
